JetStream

Jet Stream is a RISC-based raster image processor (RIP) that combines true Adobe PostScript Level 2, a Silicon Graphics Indy workstation, extensive network connectivity and MGI�s own proprietary technology for faster, more reliable printing and imaging to multiple color output devices simultaneously. Current supported devices include Canon CLC Models 300/320/350/500/700/800; Kodak ColorEdge Models 1550/1560/1565; Xerox Regal, MajestiK and 5775 Digital Color Copiers; Xerox ColografX 8900 Series Electrostatic Printers; Raster Graphics Digital ColorStation 5400/5442; Encad Novajet Pro 50, Novajet Pro and Novajet III Inkjet Printers; Hewlett-Packard 650C, 760C, 755CM Inkjet Printers; and Management Graphics Solitaire, Sapphire and Opal Digita Film Recorders. Supported file formats include PostScript, TIFF, Targa dn SGI RGB. Management Graphics provides Adobe print drivers, PPDs and Downloaders for both Macintosh and Windows platforms. JetStream offers complete color calibration and control functions for all supported output devices. JetStreat supports automatic and manual duplexing, as well as electronic collation, on digital color copiers. JetStream has been approved by Adobe Systems as a certified PostScript Level 2 RIP.
